A Survey on Security and Safety in Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) Cloud

Abstract

Over the last few years, intelligent transportation system (ITS) has been progress at quick rate, and which meant to improve the safety and security through the vehicular cloud network. And there are many issues in the VANET cloud, and some efforts are being made to integrate VANET with cloud technology are representing in the paper. The VANET cloud security services provide secure communication or protected communication of VANET between the different entities such as authentication, authorities, and privacy. The VANET cloud safety is different entities such as collision notification and avoid, traffic incident. The paper is also presented the architecture of cloud VANET which represents the IaaS, SaaS, Paas which is the schematic procedure of the vehicular cloud and also proposed cloud model that represents the client layer, communication layer, cloud layer. The VANET cloud has some application such as road safety and traffic management. This paper provides the safety and security communication between the vehicular and cloud network and presents some issues or survey on security and safety in vehicular ad hoc network in cloud.
