Abstract
Expressions are found for the shape of the NMR absorption signal and the halfwidth of the NMR line accompanying the Overhauser effect under the assumption of an initially Gaussian NMR line and a Lorentzian EPR line. The NMR line becomes distorted and contracts at EPR saturation. The results can be used for a qualitative evaluation of these effects.
