Abstract
ABSTRACT We report the results of a survey of 1Jy class radio sources in the southern hemisphere. We have identified 20 galaxies with z > 2 and an additional ~16 with 1<z<2. Multicolor, g,r,i,J,H, and K photometry are used with spectral evolution models to constrain the star formation histories and formation redshifts. The reddest galaxies at z>2 appear to be >2 Gyr old, implying large formation redshifts.
