Abstract

Horizontal strabismus, the most common type of strabismus, can be complicated by the disorder of inferior oblique muscle or superior oblique muscle. It may cause problems such as compensatory head posture, vertical diplopia, torsional diplopia, and abnormal binocular fusion. In horizontal strabismus cases, the disorder of oblique muscles should be recognized, and appropriate surgical methods should be chosen, so that the best postoperative ortho and binocular vision could be obtained.
