Abstract

Dyspnea is defined as any unpleasant respiratory experience which make a lot of disturbances in the patient's physiology. The perception of dyspnea can differ between individuals, and we might to identify the causes to managing properly. Blood arterial gasometry is crucial to diagnosing respiratory failure, and other parameters such as BNP to guide to cardiac aethiology. Treatment must be applied early providing oxygen through mask or nasal cannula, or in certain settings, through mechanical ventilation. The use of BIPAP is been extending to the emergency departments because of its potential efficacy and lower risks than with invasive ventilation.
