Abstract
Entre los gratos recuerdos de mi iniciación en el aprendizaje de la medicina sobresale, allá por el año 1912, el del estudio de la histología. Realizado con criterio objetivo, todos los alumnos ejecutábamos preparaciones de tejidos que eran revisadas y calificadas por el propio profesor del curso Dr. Daniel Eduardo Lavorería, cuyas exelentes lecciones teóricas cautivaban nuestro interés por su precisión y su elegancia.
