Abstract
The present paper is based on recently explored new rock art site in Talakona valley. The discovered rock art is sketched in white pigment on open air lime stone boulder. This rock art site is located in the dry deciduous forest in Talakona valley in seshachalam hills in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. This paper interprets the rock art, and discusses about the rock art site, social and economic activities of the present communities inhabiting around this rock art site. This paper is also gives broad discussions about the archaeological evidences found around this rock art site.
