Abstract
The purpose of article is improvement of the transportation of grain in Ukraine. On the basis of the statistical analysis trends of development of the market of transportation of grain freights are defined. It is established that the railway transport carries out transportations of grain freights in the conditions of critical depreciation of assets and competition strengthening from other means of transport. Reduction of logistic expenses by transportation of grain can be reached due to creation of system of nodal elevators and organization of transportations between them and seaports by unit trains. Possibility of transportation of goods in containers with use of bimodal technologies is considered also.

Summary
Целью статьи является совершенствование организации перевозок зерновых в Украине. На основании статистического анализа определены тенденции развития рынка перевозки зерновых грузов. Якщо внутрішнє споживання зерна в Україні залишається постійним, то обсяги експорту зернових культур з України показують стабільну тенденцію до зростання [1, 3,4,5]. Доставка зерна в морські порти здійснюється переважно залізничним (61 %), автомобільним (36 %) та річковим транспортом (3 %) [6]. Динаміка використання залізничного та автомобільного транспорту для перевезення зерна в порти по місяцям 2012 року наведена на рис.
