Abstract

The article examines the development of organizational culture of production enterprise, substantiates the problem of using special tools. Application of Lean production approaches as tools for the development of organizational culture is proposed. It is suggested to consider organizational culture at three levels and appropriate elements. The first level - the values of the organization: represented by the mission and values of the enterprise; second level - organizational standards and practices: form organizational components - the organization of communications and information processes, the organization of business processes and working conditions, which must be agreed with the first level; the third level - behavioral and social manifestations of staff: form behavioral and socio-psychological components - basic ideas, values, thinking and behavior of staff, as well as the socio-psychological state of staff, team interaction. The third level, especially the component personal basic ideas, values, thinking and behavior of has two crucial characteristics: first, it is formed through cognitive influences due to the effective implementation of tools at other levels; secondly, determines the level of development of all components of organizational culture. It is proposed to provide these elements through tools of Lean: attitude to errors and defects; making workers responsible for results; encouraging innovation; team work values and motivation development, workers involvement into development and implementation of solutions; using A3, 5S approaches for process improvement; delegation to workers decisions on quality in the workplace during production process; transparency in motivation and reward, transparent system of incentives and KPI, sharing organization's values, team work through coaching and reward, questioning employees about their values, satisfaction, aspirations, staff training and development. Value, organizational and behavioral components of lean production approaches will help strengthen existing traditional approaches to the development of organizational culture. Diagnostics of organizational culture of the production enterprise is carried out through questioning of employees. Actual and target culture profiles of organizational culture are formed, and areas of improvements are defined. Measures for the development of organizational culture of the analyzed enterprise are elaborated, expected changes in the profile of organizational culture outlined. The object of research is the processes of cultural and organizational change management. The subject of research is the tools of diagnosis and development of organizational culture of the production enterprise. The purpose of the study is to reveal the content features and tools of the organizational culture of the production enterprise.
