Abstract
The increasing availability of video-endoscopy has allowed direct sinus endoscopy to be performed through much smaller portals than traditional sinus trephination techniques. This has advantages of healing faster and with a better cosmetic result. Knowledge of the intra-sinus anatomy and the correct trephine sites is essential to perform direct sinus endoscopy.
