Abstract

Venous thromboembolism (VTE), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism, is relatively common among adults, with estimated incidence rates ranging from approximately 10 to 1200 per 100 000 adults aged ≥30 years. 1 Raskob G.E.
