Abstract
Dipolaritons are quasiparticles formed in double quantum wells microcavities. Due to direct and indirect excitonic nonlinearities, the system generates a strong thermal resistant squeezing of light, as demonstrated in article number 1900253 by Houcem Jabri and Hichem Eleuch. Depending on the electron tunneling, the nonclassical effect attains its maximum at the limit of the pulsed tunneling regime. This scheme paves the way to new sources of strong squeezed light, offering other possibilities and alternatives.
