Abstract
AbstractIn the present paper the dielectric properties of solid solutions of 4‐nitroaniline in a poly(methyl methacrylate) matrix have been measured in the frequency range 20‐106 Hz and the obtained data have been compared with those for pure poly(methyl methacrylate). It is shown that the presence of the solute has a strong influence on the relaxation process of the polymer and this is ascribed to the formation of hydrogen bonds between the amino group of the solute and acetate side groups of the polymer.
