Abstract

I first came across the Capsticks diploma in clinical risk and claims management having attended a management course as part of my generic skills training as a specialist registrar. I met a clinical risk manager who gave an inspiring presentation on how errors happen in the NHS, aspects of risk management, and clinical governance. I subsequently applied successfully and did the course. The course is run by Capsticks, one of the leading healthcare law firms in the United Kingdom, based in London.
