Abstract

This article reflects an analysis of the concept of challenge, which means a difficult but exciting situation, testing one’s qualities and skill. Thus, we have analyzed the meanings of some authors who set out a distinct vision of the societal challenges that teachers currently face. The purpose of the research is to identify, analyze and improve the most current challenges in education and training, stipulated in national and international documents, which require the teacher to possess, at the highest level, professional skills, as well as the cautious and rapid resolution of all uncertainties regarding the pedagogical profession, contributing to the improvement of professionalism and the continuous development of the professional career.
