Abstract
The principles of the following doping methods in phase analysis of a multicomponent mixture are described: (a) determination of the fraction of a component using repeated dopings or (b) using a single doping, (c) simultaneous determination of the fractions of several components using a single doping, (d) determination of the fraction of the dominant component, (e) semiquantitative phase analysis using additions of a foreign component. The methods (c), (d) and (e) have been recently postulated and developed by the authors. The applicability of the methods is stated and the optimum conditions to minimize systematic errors are discussed.
