Dilemma and Breakthrough of School-Enterprise Integration in Cultivating Applied Cross-Border E-commerce Talents Under the Background of Internet

Abstract

AbstractCross-border E-commerce is a typical representative of the Internet economy, and its explosive growth leads to a huge personnel gap. The cultivation of talents in colleges and universities should be closely combined with the needs of industry and enterprises, and adopt the way of school-enterprise integration to cultivate applied Cross-border E-commerce talents. However, due to the short rise time and rapid development of Cross-border E-commerce industry, colleges and universities lack high-quality resources in talent cultivation of school enterprise integration, and enterprises are too eager to participate in talent cultivation, which eventually makes the talent cultivation of school enterprise integration become a “short-term skill training center”, and the scope and depth of school enterprise integration are not enough. Starting from cultivating and improving the professional ability of Cross-border E-commerce talents, universities and enterprises should make full use of the essential characteristics of Internet connectivity, interactivity and network effect (Xiang and Chen in Res Higher Eng Educ 06:73–80, 2020), aggregate high-quality resources, cooperate with Cross-border E-commerce enterprises in the way of “from point to area”, and adopt hierarchical and progressive school-enterprise cooperation talent training mode through selecting cross-border e-commerce enterprises’ business categories and business models, so as to cultivate and improve the professional ability of cross-border e-commerce talents.KeywordsInternetSchool-enterprise integrationCross-border E-commerceApplication-oriented
