Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Indonesian Standard) as a solution to facilitate the collection of ZIS (Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah) funds in several mosques in Gorontalo City. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was employed, using interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection, drawing on both primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification. Findings indicate that mosque management adopted the QRIS digital payment system to adapt to modern developments and streamline ZIS collection. Among the five mosques studied, two have effectively implemented QRIS, while the remaining three still require optimization. The use of smartphones presents an opportunity by enabling easy cashless donations, with most users being young people. However, challenges include limited outreach and technical issues, such as network disruptions
