Abstract

The paper considers an integrated approach to the management of the life cycle of the transport and logistics infrastructure, basing on the concept of digital transformation and logistics engineering. The issues of digital transformation of the transport infrastructure are of particular importance in the context of the transition to the concept of Industry 4.0. This implies the existence of new infrastructure requirements, both in terms of costs and from a strategic approach to increasing business productivity, taking into account the sustainability criteria and response time to failure situations. As the basis of a highly efficient integrated TLS, there is a coordinated interaction of enterprises within the stages of the life cycle “design – operation – operational control – check and corrective actions – check of the control system”. New approaches have been recommended that provide highly efficient support for global transport systems, not only through the use of digital technologies, but also logistic engineering methods.
