Abstract

The article discusses the concepts of reliability of a data source and provides examples of ways to differentiate scientific sources and similar from the rest. The genesis of integration processes in the context of modern digital technologies in the field of scientific research is investigated. The main stages of the development of scientific knowledge are highlighted and its evolution is traced up to the appearance of the global Internet. Changes in approaches to modern research that were caused by the globalization processes of combining information are considered. The modern phenomenon of the creation of interactive databases is analyzed in the context of the noosphere theory of the Ukrainian researcher and cultural figure V.I. Vernadsky and the philosophical concept of the network paradigm of the British-American anthropologist and cybernetics G. Bateson, in whose works the mechanics of the culture of interaction in digital space are examined in detail. Examples of the use of information and communication technologies to study the signs of authenticity of Sevres porcelain manufactory products from the mid-18th to early 19th centuries are given. The ways of applying modern digital technologies in the course of scientific research are clarified.
