Abstract
For several years now, the digital world has been accompanying us at school, at work and in everyday life, but not everyone experiences it in the same way. The variable that may limit a person's ability to freely use the possibilities of digital technology is certainly age, which makes seniors particularly vulnerable to exclusion in this area. Access to the Internet and the ability to use it are nowadays often a desirable and sometimes necessary condition for participation in social or cultural life. This study is an attempt to analyse the conditions of older people's functioning in the digital world based on data obtained during a representative survey of the population of seniors in Poland.
