Abstract
For the documentation of façade structures, a special solution has been developed which produced orthophotos by different non-parametric rectification terms (projective transformation, bivariate polynomials of the Qth order, multiquadratic interpolation). A façade is divided in different planes and sub-planes, which can be projected independently and with freely selected transformation functions. Depending on the image quality of the surfaces, different resampling functions can be chosen. For a multi-image assembly radiometric corrections can be applied. The process can be carried out interactively within the higher levels of an image pyramid by visual control. Control points and plane limits are predetermined by measurements on an analytical plotter.
