Abstract

This article aims to understand the importance of the use digital communication and information technologies in education, as a pedagogical resource to improve the educational process, and use of this mechanism with the component in the process of structuring and operationalizing the school system. Bibliographic and documentary research on government programs for the insertion of computers in public schools over the four decades. The analysis of the data in the light of the bibliography studied revealed that the use of TDCI in basic education still follows slow steps.
