Abstract
This paper gives an overview of the application of digital beamforming in the deployment of mmWave in 5G networks. It x-rays a little insight into the evolution of networks and the main aim of the 5G networks. It also looked at the concept of digital beamforming and the mmwave technology; going further to consider the implementation, benefits and challenges of digital beamforming and milimeter wave (mmwave) in 5G network.
