Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the representation of a difficult life situation in the perception of young people at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of UrFU, conducted using the author's survey. In the new world, the "new youth" concept of a difficult life situation changes - from a situation that objectively impedes a person's life, to a situation that subjectively presents difficulties for self-realization, most often not directly related to a person at the moment, rather disturbing hypothetically. In general, most of the youth revealed a sense of security in the world, the majority associate difficulties with uncertainty and unpredictability, the rest of the categories are more associated with typical age-related fears. As a result of the article, the educational quest "Digital smart girl" is proposed, which will allow you to work out the skills of tracking insecurity signals in the digital environment, as well as to form competencies in managing uncertainty. The necessity of creating preventive conditions for youth in the educational process is shown.
