Differentiated Approach to the Provision of State Financial Support Measures for Modern Tourist Accommodation Facilities in the Russian Federation

Abstract

he article analyzes the measures of state financial support of accommodation facilities in the context of the implementation of the national project «Tourism and the hospitality industry». It is noted that the lack of accommodation facilities is one of the constraining factors for the development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation. The solution of this problem is carried out with the involvement of state funding. The article reveals the directions (priority types of accommodation facilities created with the participation of state financing) and forms of financial support (investments, subsidizing the interest rate for the construction (reconstruction) of hotels and grant support for public, entrepreneurial and regional initiatives aimed at the development of tourism, state guarantees). The coordinator of financial support is Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation (Rostourism). The implementation of these measures will ensure an increase in the number of high-quality year-round hotels in all regions of the Russian Federation, which will contribute to increasing competition in the market, and will have a positive impact on the price-quality ratio of recreation sector in the country.
