Abstract
<i>Differential Diagnosis in Dermatopathology III</i>by Drs Ackerman, Briggs, and Bravo is the third in a series of volumes that compares and contrasts the histologic features of cutaneous diseases that pose diagnostic dilemmas for pathologists. The basic format is similar to the first two texts, in which the features that distinguish each disease are presented in a tabular form with accompanying color photomicrographs. This is followed by a discussion that includes information on the clinical appearance of the diseases and a complete description of shared and contrasting histologic features. Of help to the pathologist are the excellent clinical photographs that reinforce the fact that lesions, while histologically similar, may be quite different at the gross level. This text deals in a concise and organized fashion with some of the most difficult diagnostic dilemmas in dermatopathology.
