Abstract
Differential and algebraic models are constructed for the dispersed-phase turbulent stresses and heat fluxes and for the mixed moments of the velocity and temperature fluctuations in the continuous and dispersed phases. The models are based on a kinetic equation for the joint probability density of the particle velocity and temperature in an anisotropic turbulent flow. The results are compared with the available direct numerical simulation (DNS) data.
