Abstract
In this paper, my focus will be on the different attitudes ofthe Holy Virgin Mary which appear in the decoration of severalCoptic artistic collections conserved and displayed now in theCoptic Museum in Cairo and in the other internationalarcheological museums abroad. This study deals also with some ofthe Mariological scenes decorating the interior walls of manyCoptic monasteries and churches in Old Cairo, Wadi Natrun, Sohagand the Red Sea. Moreover, the present study will describe andanalyze some precious examples of Coptic stone work, woodwork,metal objects, ivory panels, manuscripts, icons and wall paintings inorder to know more details about the various depictions of the HolyVirgin Mary and her figures in Coptic art.
