Abstract

Based on the analysis of statistical data and international educational comparative studies, the article analyzes inequalities in educational achievements between urban and rural students at the level of secondary, technical and vocational, higher, and postgraduate education. With secondary analysis of statistical data and sociological studies, possible reasons for the formation of educational inequalities between urban and rural areas in Kazakhstan were identified.
