Abstract

This work has as its object of study violence in educational institutions, with emphasis on teach-ers who suffer violence from students and follows a qualitative research approach, with an ex-ploratory nature, using bibliographical research as an instrument. The main objective of the study is to identify the forms of violence practiced by students against the teacher, presenting forms of intervention. Based on the information collected, the factors that lead students to vio-lent acts were analyzed and discussed, firstly; in a second moment, the consequences that these acts cause in teachers; third, the analysis of news on the proposed topic; and, finally, it conclud-ed with ways to combat these attitudes, making it necessary to reassess the role of the teacher, the student, the school and society in the face of this problem, in order to eradicate these ac-tions.
