Abstract

The relaxation time and dipole moment of five acrylates have been determined using the single-frequency method of Sobhanadri. The relaxation time decreased with increase of temperature; and the activation energy for dielectric relaxation has been computed. The relaxation time in benzene as well as carbon tetrachloride is found to be smaller than for the pure liquid.
