Abstract

In the present study, we report, dielectric properties of Acetophenone (ACP), n-Hexanol (1-HxOH) and their mixtures at constant temperature 303K. The static dielectric constant (eo) and Refractive index (n) are measured by high precision LCR meterand Abbe’s refractometer respectively. Winkelmann-Quitzsch equation for binary mixtures has been used to compute molar polarization and excess Helmholtz free energy. The variation of this parameters has been used to discuss type, strength and nature of intermolecular interactions between constituent species.
