Abstract

The (1-x)CaZrO3–0.1SrTiO3–xTiO2 system with glass frit is synthesized and its dielectric properties, such as dielectric constant, temperature coefficient and dissipation factor, are determined. The addition of 1 wt% glass frit, which consists of CaO, MgO, Al2O3 and SiO2, allows this ternary system to be sintered under 1300°C. The dielectric constant of the (1-x)CaZrO3–0.1SrTiO3–xTiO2 system increases from 41.2 to 63.0 with increasing x. The temperature coefficient of capacitance decreases from -236 ppm/°C to -867 ppm/°C linearly with x. The dissipation factor (tan δ) and electrical resistance is less than 0.1% and greater than 1013 Ω·cm, respectively.
