Abstract
The complex electric permittivity of KD 2AsO 4 in paraelectric phase in microwave region was studied. The dielectric relaxation can be described in terms of a monodispersive process over the temperature range close to T c . The calculated macroscopic τ and microscopic τ 0 relaxation times are equal to 74 and 2.5 ps, respectively. The activation free energy is equal to 3 kJ/mol. The problem of the replacement of P by As in the family of KDP and ADP crystals is discussed.
