Abstract

Single untwinned crystals of KIO 3 have been grown by a combination of convection - and isothermal evaporation - methods. This combination enables the growth of single crystals at relatively low temperatures and at atmospheric pressures. The effect of an electrical field on the growth of such crystals is described.
