Abstract
The Banco del Libro [Book Bank] is a not-for-profit Civil Association dedicated to the promotion of reading and of children's books, the activities of which take place not only in Venezuela but also throughout Latin America. The association has more than 20,000 books for children and teens, and some 10,000 documents for specialists. One of the main goals is to assist parents, teachers, and librarians to sponsor the reading of good books at home, at school, and at the library.
