Abstract
The subject of the following analysis is a linear-elastic half-plane which is loaded at an internal point by a single in-plane force. The corresponding fundamental solution is determined by the construction of two appropriate complex potentials. These are of a rather compact form and allow a direct and easy derivation of the usual field quantities as stresses and displacements.
