Abstract

With the introduction of minimal-invasive techniques for the operative treatment of a scaphoid fracture we have in addition to the conservative treatment and the surgical open screw fixation of the fracture a new method of therapy at our disposal. New techniques are always to be examined whether or not they actually constitute an improvement. In our contribution we present the possible sources of faults and risks of the primary operative minimal-invasive and open treatment in word and pictures.
