Abstract
The Coptic Gospel of Thomas is still the best-known font from the Nag Hammadi discovery of 1945. In the debate about the Gospel of Thomas from Nag Hammadi, it went so far primarily to the question of whether he ever acquires greater importance. The discussion about the Gospel of Thomas is part of the wider debate on the importance of neutestament union Apocrypha.
