Abstract

Dictyochaeta minutissima sp. nov., characterized by 0-septate and non-setulate conidia, the absence of setae and percurrently proliferating single or branched conidiophores, is described and illustrated from Coccothrinax miraguama. It is compared with the similar species D. antillana, D. heteroderae and D. lilliputeana, differing from these in producing percurrent proliferations in the conidiophores, and having very small conidia.
