Abstract
The structure of the $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ dibaryon is studied in terms of the chiral SU(3) quark model. The ground state energy of $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ dibaryon is evaluated by considering both the $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ and $\mathrm{CC}$ (hidden color) channels. The parameter-dependence of the $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ dibaryon mass is also investigated. It is shown that the resultant mass of the $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ dibaryon is lower than the threshold of the $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$ channel but still higher than that of the $\ensuremath{\Delta}N\ensuremath{\pi}$ channel.
