Abstract
Diamagnetic susceptibility of shallow donors in Si is computed incorporating the multivalley conduction band structure and the spheroidal energy surfaces. Our result is compared with an earlier estimate of Kohn on the one-valley model [Solid State Phys. 5 (1955) 2573].
