Abstract
The article analyzes the processes of digitalization of the economy in a historical retrospective, the scientific views of representatives of various concepts of the digital economy as a phenomenon of the economy, which is based on the active use of information and communication and other high technologies in the production of economic benefits. The authors reveal the factors influencing the economic system of the processes of information-digital transformation of society and the associated socio-political risks and challenges. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of digital technologies on economic growth. In this context, issues of comparing models and rates of socio-technological renewal in the global and national economies are revealed. The purpose of the article is a theoretical understanding of digitalization processes from the perspective of qualitative analysis of changes in the socio-economic system in the context of increasing their impact on the economy and society, the development of conclusions and proposals for the effective use of modern methods, approaches and tools to ensure the growth of a globalizing national economy. To achieve this purpose, the authors use historical, abstract-logical methods, a complex-functional analysis, a systematic approach, a comparison and a method of expert assessments.
