Abstract
Abstract. Imaging diagnostics in veterinary medicine have seen significant advancements over the years due to technological evolution, which has also driven procedures and examinations in human medicine. The objective of this article is to discuss these advancements and future prospects in veterinary imaging, as well as to assess their impacts on the clinical routine of small animals. It is concluded that ||elastography and microbubble contrast are among the most promising available imaging methods, capable of aiding in more accurate and early diagnoses, as well as monitoring various treatments and procedures, thereby contributing to the advancement of veterinary sciences.
