Abstract
To the Editor: PRAME (PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma) immunohistochemistry has emerged as a reliable tool for distinguishing benign and malignant melanocytic neoplasms.1-4 Diffuse nuclear immunoreactivity was found in ∼90% of conventional nonspindle cell primary cutaneous melanomas, compared to absent or focal staining in 86% and 13% of conventional nonspitzoid melanocytic nevi, respectively.2
