Abstract

Cerebral concussion is a minor and reversible functional abnormality and due its relatively minor nature it usually goes undetected and underreported. Despite increased knowledge and awareness of concussion and its long-term sequelae, effective measures of diagnosis, prognosis and treatment still appear to be deficient.
