Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a complex probem in pregnancy with significant maternal and neonatal morbidity. Strict maintenance of euglycemia during the peripartum period is crucial. Careful planning of anesthetic management with appropriate choice of anesthetic agents and drugs and an impeccable anesthetic technique are essential.
