Abstract
The 24th annual 3D Seismic Symposium, sponsored by the Denver Geophysical Society (DGS), will take place 6 March 2018 in Denver, Colorado. This year's theme will be “Integrated geoscience for the future.” The keynote speaker is slated to be Jesse Sommer of Armstrong Oil and Gas, who will present on Armstong's multibillion-barrel discovery at Pikka Field on Alaska's North Slope. The planned kick-off speaker will be Tom Smith of Geophysical Insights, discussing machine learning and its ability to augment — not replace — seismic interpretation.
