Abstract

(Abstracted from Anesth Analg, 121:785–790, 2015) Excellent intubation conditions reduce the risk of postoperative laryngeal injury in pediatric patients. Although administration of propofol (3 mg/kg) and remifentanil (2 μg/kg) without muscle relaxants can provide excellent conditions, there is risk of corresponding increases in bradycardia or hypotension.
